KCMG Composites offers R&D, prototyping, testing and production capabilities in the fabrication of carbon fibre that range from structural parts for the automotive and aerospace sectors to bespoke motorsport components and luxury items.
KCMG Composites was established by Dr. Paul Ip, who is also the founder of KC Motorgroup Ltd (KCMG). KCMG was established in 2007, and steadily became a leader in motorsport highlighting notable accomplishments in various racing platforms across the globe – notably, their commanding 2015 victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
As KC Motorgroup Ltd. successfully developed its brand and made a huge mark in the world of racing, the group acquired vast knowledge in the composites technology through the years, understanding the demand and easily pin pointing issues that needed solutions that they knew they can provide.
Ip’s passion in motorsport/automotive, manufacturing and technology together with his strong relationships in the industry led to the establishment of KCMG Composites in 2014, aiming to capture the high growth CFRP market.
